Resumen

CARPIZO, Jorge. The Fundamental Legal-Political Principles in the Mexican Constitution. Rev. Derecho Estado [online]. 2011, n.27, pp.7-21. ISSN 0122-9893.

The article discusses the existence of the fundamental legal-political principles that constitute the guidelines of the State's legal order and whose ownership is at the head of constituent power, which, far from being merely academic or theoretical concepts, are identified specifically in the constitutions. It points to the existence of fundamental legal-political principles present in any constitution, understanding the concept of a democratic constitution, from the hand of others which, without conflicting with the above, are incorporated in the Constitution to the extent that obey the history and socio-political experience of each individual State. It concludes with the enunciation of the principles and legal fundamentals of the Mexican Constitution.

Palabras clave : Fundamental legal-political principles; constituent power; constitutional order; democratic Constitution.
