Abstract

MARTY NIUK, Claudio. Testimony, prose, poetry. Rev. Derecho Estado [online]. 2014, n.32, pp.157-176. ISSN 0122-9893.

There is poetry in conceptual language, between literary culture and scientific culture, between aesthetics and epistemology, which stretches and shapes singularities, which questions and moulds sensitivities, which even feeds resistance, critical disquiet and rebellion. Testify -act, poiesis, record, file-, the victim is beaten with the opacity of the experienced and the desire to seek solace in discourse, with expiration and file of his aspiration for justice. The essay of a philosophy of testimony, by now poetic prose, accompanies the witness like an experimental quest and restorative adventure, observes and criticizes neglect and indifference that abandons victims, because poetry and testimony put into -and must expose and maintain, as this overlapping of aesthetics, epistemology and ethics- question language.

Keywords : Testimony; Auschwitz; Aesthetics; Poetry; infra-ordinary.
