Abstract

GOMEZ GONZALEZ, ROSA FERNANDA. Historical background of the sanctioning power of the Administration in Chile. Rev. Derecho Estado [online]. 2019, n.44, pp.361-384. ISSN 0122-9893.  https://doi.org/10.18601/01229893.n44.13.

The purpose of this work is to account for the origin and development of the sanctioning authority of the Administration in Chile. The central hypothesis of this research postulates that its origin is found in the police activity that came to America through the application of Castilian-Indian law, from which it evolved until its current consolidation as another authority of the Administration.

Keywords : Administrative Law Sanctioning; Administrative Police; Constitutional Tolerance; Ius Puniendi.
