The present work seeks to expose the long road travelled by women to obtain recognition of their space, voice and relevance in the field of labour relations. And this, to give account that even today, and in the face of new work modalities, many obstacles are evident that have not yet been removed, there are traces of the historical prejudicial vision of the female gender and its marginal role in the labour relations. In fact, we will realize that women's work is built from subjection not only to corporate power, but also to the male dominance that has appropriated this space as well.
