SEVILLANO, HÉCTOR IGLESIAS. The Transformations of Law as an Objective Concept before Global Law. Rev. Derecho Estado [online]. 2023, n.56, pp.43-70. Epub 15-Mayo-2023. ISSN 0122-9893. https://doi.org/10.18601/01229893.n56.02.
In this paper we propose a reassessment of the concept of Law in an objective sense in view of the global legal phenomenon. Our intention is not, of course, "redefining" the law, but simply to explain how globality transforms its content from classical categories to modern pluralism. To describe the current paradigm of normativeness, we will examine briefly the features that have traditionally been attributed to Law and contrast them with its global phenomenology. To this end, we will construct the hypothesis that the global legal phenomenon is, precisely, a pluralism, but not a normative pluralism in the vacuum of independent and uncommunicative legal rules, but a varied and diverse set of regulatory systems that are permanently related to each other.
