The study entitled "Improving the Inferential Ability of College Students" was intended to design educational strategies to develop students' reading comprehension with respect to academic texts. It was set up as a feasible project with pilot intervention in the developmental stage. The main finding centers on a gradual and adaptable structured proposal for a comprehensive reading training program for university curricula and university courses in academic literacy.
