Abstract

ALVAREZ-LEON, Ricardo. ASSOCIATIONES AND PATOLOGIES IN THE FISHES FRESH WATERS, ESTUARINES AND MARINES OF COLOMBIA: WATERS FREES AND CONTROLATES. Bol. Cient. Mus. Hist. Nat. Univ. Caldas [online]. 2007, vol.11, n.1, pp.81-129. ISSN 0123-3068.

It is presented for the first time a synthesis of the existing information is presented for first time on the different associations of the native and exotic fish, as much in free waters as in the development of aquaculture projects. It is important to point that the bacteria’s (69), micophytes (3), protozoan (28), rotifers (2), trematods monogeneus (21), trematods digeneus (72), cestods (25), nematods (15), annelids hirudines (1), bivalve mollusks (1), odonata insects (3), copepods crustacean (20), isopods crustacean (14) and fishes (4), are part of the organisms associated to the Colombian fishes (100 species of fresh water and, 78 species of estuarine and marine). Within the associations found in the reefs of the Colombian Caribbean, existens between cleaning shrimp (2) and fish (29) stand out. Finally, comments on the ichtiophatological considerations for their control and handling in confined areas, are made.
