Abstract

A complete diagnosis of adult, mature larvae and pupae stages of Cosmoplites sordidus, an important pest species from around the world associated with plantain weevils complex mainly from the Central coffee zone of Colombia. The morphological analysis contains illustrations to scale of key pieces. Also, relevant commentaries on sexual dimorphism and geographical distribution for Colombia are included.
