Cet article révise le statut d'un Callicore colombien de la région du Chocó et précise sa position systématique. Il expose le mécanisme selon lequel le nom d'aurantiaca (Oberthür, 1916) doit lui être appliqué en accord avec le Code international de la Nomenclature zoologique (ICZN).
