COCA, Luis Fernando; SANIN, David; POSADA-HERRERA, Juan Mauricio e SIERRA-GIRALDO, Julio Andrés. PELTIGERALES (LICHENIZED ASCOMYCETES) ANDEANFOREST NATIONAL NATURAL PARK TATAMÁ, COLOMBIA. Bol. Cient. Mus. Hist. Nat. Univ. Caldas [online]. 2012, vol.16, n.1, pp.60-72. ISSN 0123-3068.
Peltigerales is a segregated order of Lecanorales, contains most of cianoliquenes wealth and diversity is about 1700 species distributed worldwide. However, the diversity of lichen communities in the Neotropics has been poorly sampled, although it exceeds that of temperate regions. Also in the Colombian Western Cordillera are few recorded documents dealing with lichen biodiversity. For that we development the lichenology exploration in the Tatamá Natural National Park, where there were different types of samples that included eight plots of 50 x 2 m2, between 2400 and 3000 m (two at 200m altitude where sampled species of lichens), epiphytes (2.5m in phorophyte) foliícolas and earthlings. The most diversity of lichens was found at 2600 m, families are more diverse Lobariaceae, Coccocarpiaceae and Pannariaceae, the genus Sticta is the richer and distributed. There were seven genera and 20 species as new records for the park as well as five chorological and two taxonomic novelty from Colombia. The fact that previous studies, rebel figures are lower due to poor lichenological exploration that characterizes most of the Andean ecosystem.
