Abstract

A review of the species and subspecies belonging to the genus Ancyluris Hübner [1819] that have been registered in in Colombia is presented in this paper. A total of 11 species for Colombia are reported from which 15 species are known in the whole neotropical region, which represents 73.3 % of all known species. Ancyluris inca caucaensis n. spp.and A. aulestes callaghani n. ssp are described as new species. Aspects related to their biology, habitats and distribution ranges are included based on the capture of material deposited in some Colombian collections.
