This paper aims to report the Diaphorencyrtus sp parasitoid wasp (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) for the first time in Colombia. This wasp will control the Asian citrus psyllid Diaphorina citri which causes great losses in commercial fruit crops. The new parasitoid was found and recorded by manual capture and it is concluded that it will greatly impact on the country for possible control of the pest above mentioned through the analysis of its effects in further studies.
