To bring to light the butterfly fauna (Leidoptera: Hesperioidae-Papilionoidae) corresponding to four localities in the Departments of Guaviare (corresponding to Cerro Campana in the Serranía del Chiribiquete) and Vaupés (Village of Pacoa, the community of Buenos Aires, el Raudal del Jirijirimo, and Cerro Morroco), within the Colombia Bio Apaporis 2018 expedition.

The specimens were captured with entomological net, Van Someren-Rydon traps (VRST) using decomposing fish and shrimp in different types of habitats and using the Ahrenholz technique with the sampling effort of two people.

The richness of butterflies indicates 248 species for the sampling areas. Buenos Aires and Cerro Campana presented the highest richness.

A general list of species is provided and new species records are released for the country and the Amazon region.
