Abstract

In this paper, we present the results of three research projects about the levels of reading and writing of Law and Psychology students at Institución Universitaria de Envigado. The three research projects were done from the second semester of 2010 to the first semester of 2013. Such researches were qualitative, descriptivecomparative approach. Besides, in each of these an intervention was carried out to the participants based on Text Linguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis and Pragma-Dialectic Argumentation. Finally, the results show that by students whose levels of written culture are low can be better by mean of this kind of interventions.
