Abstract

This article exposes a territorial explanatory model, its composition and its purpose in the understanding of agroproductive landscapes, a topic with interdisciplinary relevance. Starting in an intensive fieldwork in the area of Eje Cafetero, place where this model was applied. Some areas are studied in which relationships of diverse forms of power are presented. This landscape has been delimited as Paisaje Cultural Cafetero, declared heritage of humanity between 2000 and 2015. This model is composed of the following dimensions: ecosystem, socio-historic, socio-economic and socio-political. It is expected to consolidate an investigation input to enhance decision making in cultural, agricultural, aspects of order and territorial management institutions.
