Abstract
ALVAREZ TORO, Lina Johanna. INSTRUMENT OF VIVENCED PSYCHOMOTRICITY FOR AUTISTIC CHILDREN. rev.udcaactual.divulg.cient. [online]. 2013, vol.16, n.2, pp.343-350. ISSN 0123-4226.
The psychomotor assessment tools in population with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) tend to be very limited, due to difficulties in communication and social interaction, which are characteristics of this type of disease, thus generating great disadvantages when performing assessment processes, due to the lack of reciprocity of this group with the therapist. This research aimed to provide an evaluation proposal from the vivenced psychomotor perspective, for this it was necessary to create an instrument, which was summited to an expert judgment. In this first moment, the results showed that the instrument provides an approach to psychomotor component from another perspective, facilitated by the observation within different contexts and presents coupling between the four dimensions: the own body, space, objects and other individuals. In a second moment, the conclusions of the therapists who used the instrument, determined that it was consistent, practical, simple and allowed a good analysis of the male or female child because it focuses on the subject of analysis.
