Abstract This contribution is intended to provide an introduction (from the point of view of the civil law tradition) to the problem of contact points and differences between two subjects close to each other: the mistake nullifying consent and the information duties. This paper seeks to offer analysis points of view from which the lawyer of the civil law tradition can understand the current status of this matter.
