This paper presents the results of a research carried out between the second semester of 2010 and the first one of 2012 within a fan group of Millonarios FC, commonly known as ''barra brava''. There is a literature review on theoretical issues about football fans. The paper also explains how to join and interact into a fans' group. In addition, findings obtained by means of the description and involvement into the fans'group, are presented through particular ethnography technique. Finally, some reflections are made about ''aguante'', a concept built within the selected group and how this concept has become an element to build identity.
