This article presents the results of a research study about the use of some Web 2.0 tools in a virtual platform as a strategy to accompany the process of teaching and learning French as a foreign language (FFL). The study sought to observe and analyze a virtual platform in order to suggest a number of tasks using Web 2.0 tools. These tools are better suited for a student as a social actor according to the action-oriented approach, which is privileged by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
