Abstract

HERRERA UMANA, MARÍA FERNANDA   and  OSORIO GOMEZ, JUAN CARLOS. MODELO PARA LA GESTIÓN DE PROVEEDORES UTILIZANDO AHP DIFUSO. estud.gerenc. [online]. 2006, vol.22, n.99, pp.69-88. ISSN 0123-5923.

Supplier management is a very important element in the management of the modern companies, mainly if it considers that if the inputs of the process have quality, the outputs are going to have quality too. For this reason, purchasing managers should have tools that enable them to make agile decisions and as far as possible, these tools should be objective and easy to use. Giving an answer to this need, in this paper we propose a model designed to manager suppliers in a service company. This model is based in the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP), which has proven be effective tool to make a multi-criterion decision. In addition, this model is ramed by the ISO 9000:2000 requirements and the PHVA Improvement cycle, reason by which this model applies to companies certified or in certification process.

Keywords : Supplier Management; Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP); Multi-criterion decision; Fuzzy Logic; System of Quality Management.
