Abstract

El Gobierno colombiano, con el Decreto 1599 de 2005, estableció el Modelo Estándar de Control Interno para Entidades del Estado, MECI 1000:2005, para unificar el Control Interno Estatal. El modelo requiere cuatro etapas para su implementación; consta de tres subsistemas, nueve componentes y 29 elementos, la interrelación de éstos conforma el sistema.
