Abstract

The article describes the approach to the process of Entrepreneurship Education (EE) in the centers of higher education centers in Venezuela in 2005-2010. The methodology followed a complementary approach. Different methods were used for the interpretation of data: descriptive analysis for the quantitative data, and for the qualitative data, the method of content analysis (CA) generated by the documents and interviews with the actors responsible for the process of entrepreneurship education. The results show the activity within the institutional framework and university -industry links according to environmental demands and the prospects mentioned in the processes of business creation, small and medium businesses (SMBs), and corporate entrepreneurship.
