Abstract

This paper analyzes the situation of the main clusters from Argentina and how these associative structures can enhance the generation of innovations and generate positive externalities for the community. It is a descriptive analysis, through case study. We also applied a knowledge management model in order to evaluate the effects of clusters on innovation, and in their creating valuable knowledge process. In conclusion, we could demonstrate the importance of institutional support from public policies, what should be the structural features in clusters, and the necessary actions to develop structural, relational and innovation capital.
