RIVAS, Luz Maria  and  LONDONO-CORREA, Diana. Review on corporate synergies: Origins, outcomes and beneficiaries. estud.gerenc. [online]. 2017, vol.33, n.143, pp.153-162. ISSN 0123-5923.  https://doi.org/10.1016/j.estger.2017.04.004.

Realization of synergies is a challenge for multibusiness firm's management. Aiming at exploringe the state of knowledge on synergy in the subfield of corporate strategy, this text studies articles published between 2003 and 2015 in academic journals recognized by the Institute for Scientific Information-ISI Web of Science and Scimago. This review differentiates synergy research in the acquisition stage and focuses on the integration stage, where administrative practices are relevant. For that reason, this paper promotes researching synergies from its origin, outcomes, and beneficiaries. By recognizing synergy diversity, a path facing the multibusiness management challenge is opened.
