Abstract

SALAS-ARBELAEZ, Laura; GARCIA-SOLARTE, Mónica  and  AZUERO-RODRIGUEZ, Andrés Ramiro. Effect of corporate social responsibility on the Colombian post-conflict: the case of SMEs. estud.gerenc. [online]. 2020, vol.36, n.154, pp.80-90. ISSN 0123-5923.  https://doi.org/10.18046/j.estger.2020.154.3547.

The objective of this research was to identify the effect of corporate social responsibility from the economic, ethical-legal, and philanthropic dimensions of Colombian SMEs on business practices immersed in the post-conflict, such as the linking and support to the entrepreneurships of victims and ex-combatants. The methodology is explanatory with a quantitative approach; 492 managers of SMEs in the cities of Cali, Medellin and Bogotá were interviewed. The results identify that the philanthropic and economic dimensions have a positive effect on the post-conflict business practices, that is, when the company helps the community and prioritizes the economic impact promotes linking and supporting actors, while in the ethical-legal dimension the opposite happens.

Keywords : corporate social responsibility; post-conflict; SMEs.
