VILLAVICENCIO-AYUB, Erika; QUIROZ-GONZALEZ, Eliana; GARCIA-MERAZ, Melissa  y  SANTAMARIA-PLASCENCIA, Erika. Personal and organizational affectations derived from confinement by COVID-19 in Mexico. estud.gerenc. [online]. 2021, vol.37, n.158, pp.85-93.  Epub 19-Mar-2021. ISSN 0123-5923.  https://doi.org/10.18046/j.estger.2021.158.4270.

The objective of the paper was to analyze the personal and organizational affectations derived from the confinement during COVID-19 in Mexico. An associative strategy and a transversal predictive design were used. 724 workers participated, of which, 61.6% were women. A scale about affectations derived from confinement and another about the support of the company toward the work activities in the face of the COVID-19 were applied. Factor analyses with orthogonal rotation and multiple linear regressions were performed. It was found moderate to high-reliability coefficients by Cronbach's alpha: 0,867 and 0,842. The results highlight the importance of leadership and the daily worker dynamics on productivity during confinement. Both scales showed an adequate factor structure and can be used by Mexicanorganizations.
