Abstract

SUAREZ ROLDAN, Juan Camilo. READING POEMS AS A CELEBRATION. A HERMENEUTIC APPROACH FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF GADAMER AND RICOEUR. Lit. teor. hist. crit. [online]. 2013, vol.15, n.2, pp.45-68. ISSN 0123-5931.

This article proposes to use concepts borrowed mainly from hermeneutics in order to outline the festive aspect of poem-reading. Such concepts were originally proposed by Paul Ricoeur and H. G. Gadamer for the comprehension and interpretation of texts in general, but now they will be applied to the remarkable case of poetry-reading assumed as a celebration.

Keywords : comprehension; interpretation; hermeneutics; poem; lyric text; celebration.
