LUPPI, Juan Pablo. Who else but me? Self-Validation of Authorial Mythology as the Culmination of the Work of Fogwill. Lit. teor. hist. crit. [online]. 2016, vol.18, n.1, pp.75-97. ISSN 0123-5931. https://doi.org/10.15446/lthc.v18n1.54680.
The Argentine writer Rodolfo Fogwill (1941-2010) revalues his work published under the trademark which his last name has become by means of an increasing series of editorial decisions in his last three years of life. In this way, he consummates the design of a vigorous author figure which faces constraints of society and literature. By selecting and rearranging texts produced since 1974 -which multiply the uses of the first narrative person and traverse genres like the short story, the autobiography, the essay, the chronicle- in the editions of Los libros de la guerra (2008 and 2010) and Cuentoscompletos (2009), the work of Fogwill culminates with a retrospective and projective validation of authorial mythology.
