Abstract
FLECK, Gilmei Francisco; SANT'ANA, Michele de Fátima and BECHER, Tatiane Cristina. Hybrid narratives of infant-juvenile literature: approximations to the mediation contemporary historical novel. Lit. teor. hist. crit. [online]. 2021, vol.23, n.2, pp.193-216. Epub July 21, 2021. ISSN 0123-5931. https://doi.org/10.15446/lthc.v23n2.94887.
In hybrid narratives, both historical and fictional discourse are amalgamated, often seeking a rework of previous Records, based on critical reinterpretations of a past written by the European colonizer. In this article we present the analysis of two literary works of infant-juvenile literature that intertwine fiction and history through this critical reinterpretation, with the aim of bringing them closer to the modality proposed by Fleck: the mediation contemporary historical novel. To do so we are theoretically based on the assumptions of Cadermatori, Coelho, Santiago, Fleck, among others. Through the analysis developed, we seek to highlight formal aspects of the works Anacaona: The Golden Flower Queen. La Reina Flor de Oro, by Viviana S. Torres, and Degredado em Santa Cruz, by Sonia Sant'Anna. We found possible and pertinent the proposed approach for the works presented with the theoretical assumptions about the contemporary historical mediation novel.
