During the first decade of the 21st century, after the application of the neoliberal model in Latin America, progressive governments emerged with alternative political, economic, and territorial projects with the aim of building a different economy. Today we are witnessing a second wave of progressive governments. In Mexico, in 2018, with the arrival of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (amlo) to the presidency, there was a turn towards progressivism, from that moment on a formally anti-neoliberal discourse and a series of regional territorial policies that promised the transformation of the country was built. The objective of this article is to analyze the most important public policies carried out in Mexico during amlo's administration, their socioeconomic and territorial impacts, and the challenges they face in responding to the question posed: Is this the end of neoliberalism in Mexico?
