Abstract

LUGO-MORIN, Diosey Ramón. Analysis of Social Networks in the Rural World: A Basic Guide. rev.estud.soc. [online]. 2011, n.38, pp.129-142. ISSN 0123-885X.

The rural world, through the influence of current economic logic, is in a constant state of change, represented by increases in the flow of migrations, the access to new markets, the rise of the rural woman as protagonist, the pluriactivty of countryside, and ethnic competitiveness, among others. In light of this, the actions of social players are increasingly present and the need for new analytical perspectives, such as the analysis of social networks, arises. Finally, this paper seeks to be an initial guide and starting point to analyze social networks in a rural environment.

Keywords : Social Networks; Basic Guide; Social Actors; Rural Environment.
