This paper shows the development of a traffic model based on neural networks. Traffic data used in training of the neural network were extracted from a data network through the Ethernet LAN Ethereal Sniffer; also MATLAB software was used to modeling the three-layer neural network. The results show the flexibility and accuracy of neural networks in modeling of Ethernet network traffic, if you have a sufficient number of samples of traffic to train it.
