Abstract

VALDEZ DAVID, MIREYA  and  IRANZO TACORONTE, MAURICIO. THEORETICAL AND CONCEPTUAL AXES OF SOCIAL CAPITAL IN RURAL AREAS. Psicogente [online]. 2014, vol.17, n.31, pp.49-66. ISSN 0124-0137.

The confident attitude, reciprocity, ethics and values in the complex relationships among members in organizations is represented by social capital. It's understood by the collective aptitude to make decisions and to act jointly to pursue common goals, placing a specific group of people in a superior level in relation to the individual. Its theoretical and documented analysis allows us to identify it as social, productive relationships among members of the groups. Within this framework a study was conducted to identify the conceptual theoretical axis of this social capital, as can be seen in rural organizations. To obtain these results, a content analysis derived from three axis was made including the following: structural, relational and that of resources. All these axis allowed to identify the rural organization and the dynamics of the above mentioned as it relates to social capital in these types of organizations.

Keywords : Social capital; Rural organizations; Theoretical and conceptual axes; Collective aptitude..
