Estud. Socio-Juríd [online]. 2023, vol.25, n.1, e07.  Epub Oct 12, 2023. ISSN 0124-0579.  https://doi.org/10.12804/revistas.urosario.edu.co/sociojuridicos/a.12420.

This article presents the study of the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court of Justice, which address reinforced job stability in workers with manifest weakness, and the analysis of all the decisions that the Labor Chamber of the Superior Trial Court of Bucaramanga has resolved on the matter. It presents, as well, the synthesizes of the jurisprudential line of the high courts that the same court has followed. These considerations constitute the theoretical core of the amparo constitutional (protection of reinforced labor stability) in relation to the dismissal of workers in a situation of manifest weakness.

Keywords : Reinforced labor stability; manifest weakness; constitutional principles; jurisprudence of the high courts; line of jurisprudence.
