Abstract

This article raises the existence of menstrual rights as fundamental rights in the Colombian legal system, due to the intrinsic relationship between menstruation and the human dignity, life and personal integrity of those who menstruate, since it is a natural process. The work was developed through a qualitative methodology where a systematic review of regulations, national and international jurisprudence, NGO reports and doctrine was conducted to deepen in what fosters the detriment of the life of menstruating people in different aspects.
