Abstract

RAMOS, Leonardo  and  SCOTELARO, Marina. The State of Art of International Political Economy in Brazil: Possibilities to Think (and Practice) an IPE from Below. Desafíos [online]. 2018, vol.30, n.2, pp.127-157. ISSN 0124-4035.  https://doi.org/10.12804/revistas.urosario.edu.co/desafios/a.6106.

The article is part of the debate about the state of art of IPE research in Latin America and, particularly, on the necessity to develop broader perspectives about the development of the IPE subfield in Brazil. Inspired by the critical literature concerning the knowledge production in the periphery of IR, the assumption here is that the understanding of the IR field pathways discloses the limits and potentials of indigenous knowledge production in different regions and places. Shows therefore, the article aims to present an exploratory research projects about the academic research on IPE in Brazil from 2000 to 2015, notably in regard to articles published in Brazilian journals daries this period.

Keywords : Brazilian IPE; Global IPE; Practical dimension.
