This work is derived from the macro project Body culture as a synthesis site in the social construction of fear as a model of identity in conflict scenarios (2006-2009), and the study Imprints somatic-city culture of the displaced towards Medellin (2010-2012). Objective: To identify the food practices place during accommodation process of Afro-Colombian population, in the context of exile in Medellín-Colombia. Methodology: It is a reflexive ethnography study. Interviews, visual records, observations, and workshops were developed. Results: The study allowed us to understand the identity rol of feeding practices from three points of view: longing, preferences, and possible thinks. Experiences from an unknown context, and contrast between culinary collections and food offer in Medellin mediates the identity reconfiguration from population displaced by the conflict in Medellín.
