The cultural sector currently faces challenges and problematic situations associated with lack of funding, piracy, limitations in training and education, lack of adequate public policies, international competition and informality, among others; which has made it difficult for cultural enterprises to position themselves directly on international markets.
Objective:
to propose an internationalization model for cultural sector businesses, both nationally and internationally, which not only allows companies to generate greater economic benefits but also to expand their market and improve their competitiveness, from their particularities in handling them as strengths within the process.
Methodology:
descriptive type with explanatory - analytical method, because it uses the observation and description of a phenomenon. In addition, with a proactive approach that allows the establishment of a model that does not exist at the global level.
Key findings:
an internationalization model for the cultural sector was developed, based on the particular characteristics of the companies that make up the sector.
Conclusions:
this model has the tripartite interaction between the relationship with the creative ecosystem, the selection of the model and outline of the internationalisation process.
