Abstract

Biological specimens belonging to the Notodontidae (Lepidoptera) moth family deposited in the “Luis María Murillo” National Taxonomic Collection of Insects (NTCI) in Cundinamarca, Colombia were studied. A total of 202 specimens, 50 species, 33 genera, and seven subfamilies were found. Of these, two species are endemic, and 20 species are reported for the first time in Colombia. The Heterocampinae subfamily and the genus Hemiceras had the highest number of species, with 19 and 10 species respectively. Additionally, six new host plants are reported for the family.
