Abstract

We present 7418 records of insects of the order Diptera, corresponding to 7569 specimens deposited in the Entomological Collection of the University of Antioquia (CEUA) with information associated with plant taxa. The specimens were collected in and/or reared from small bodies of water accumulated in parts of terrestrial plants, denoted as Phytotelmata in a tropical rain forest in the department of Chocó. The dataset is public access through Biodiversity Information System (SiB-Colombia).
