This article aims to analyze how banking concentration and financial reorganization have developed during the post-crisis period in Spain and Portugal, highlighting the continuity of three trends related to financial stability in both countries: the increase in banks' volume of assets, the centralization of their capital and lower average profitability in banking activity.
