This paper is a critical commentary to "Realism, Essentialism and Extensionalism", by professor Ignacio Ávila. In particular, professor Ávila's criticisms to an essentialist metaphysics are answered, arguing, mainly, that this metaphysics is compatible with the phenomenon of conceptual relativity.
