Abstract

JARAMILLO-URIBE, JUAN MANUEL. Advantages of the structuralist architectonic for an adequate understanding of the global structure of theories. discus.filos [online]. 2017, vol.18, n.31, pp.71-85. ISSN 0124-6127.  https://doi.org/10.17151/difil.2017.18.31.5.

In this paper I intend to make a general presentation of the three great architectonic projects produced in philosophy and, in particular, in the philosophy of science (at least two of them). I dwell in a special way in the structuralist architectonic project of Moulines and Sneed that, unlike the architectonic project of logical positivism, aims (thanks to the notion of "theory of holons") to account for the global structure of science, passing from the most immediate environment of the theories characteristic of a local architectonic, to a more general and comprehensive representation of science, typical of global architectonic.

Keywords : local architectonic; global architectonic; theory of holons; links.
