This investigation seeks to make a descriptive approach of the Colombian territory from the Colombian-Peru border with the purpose of generating a conceptual frame work bound to the territory which allow to study the borders of Colombia as living territories, full of dynamic processes (legals and illegals) and not statics and dependent on Bogota, that is typical of geopolitics. This, in order to determine the actual capacities of political and economic integration of the Colombian border areas starting from the hypothesis that the geographical and economic configuration of space precludes Colombian border integration with their partners.
