Abstract

Conciliation is considered as a socio-legal figure at the forefront; it is habitual to hear on this topic in many different scenarios.

Objective:

To offer a reflection on the ethical component for virtualized extrajudicial conciliation, recognizing it as free, fast and effective mechanism for the settlement of the legal disputes.

Materials and methods:

Deductive-analytical methodology, for this research was applied. The implementation of virtualized conciliation in centers for conciliation and arbitration in Medellin (Col), were investigated.

Results:

Partial results found in this research are focus on the adaptation of virtualized conciliation process.

Conclusions:

Ethics in virtualized conciliation process is a result of a social progress; which allows the use of technology as a mean to reach more people, to be more effective and to have cheaper conciliation processes, in order to resolve conflicts through dialogue.
