Abstract

ARISTIZABAL CORREA, Dany Alberto. Right to digital oblivion in Colombia: contemporary challenges in an outdated society. Justicia [online]. 2019, vol.24, n.36, pp.211-225. ISSN 0124-7441.  https://doi.org/10.17081/just.24.36.3766.

The current world shows a revolutionary dynamism, it is worth mentioning that this generation seems to cross borders of all imagination due to medical, architectural, cultural, social and especially technological advances, but although the explosion period seems to be reborn cultural, technological and social is accompanied by great challenges that advance by leaps and bounds where the law falls short to regulate the new relationships arising from the new information and telecommunications technologies and where new conceptions of rights come together so that rights collide with each other. fundamentals that will ultimately reflect the normative capacity of states such as Colombia to assume positions in conflicts never seen before in their latitudes but that have been emerging in especially European countries such as the so-called right to digital oblivion.

Keywords : human rights; digitization; commercial law.
