Abstract

LATORRE IGLESIAS, Edimer Leonardo; OLARTE MOLINA, María Alejandra  and  SAENZ CORREA, Marta. Wounds in the Colombian post-memory: critical reflections on the massacre of the best corner. Justicia [online]. 2022, vol.27, n.42, pp.89-102.  Epub Feb 07, 2023. ISSN 0124-7441.  https://doi.org/10.17081/just.27.42.6098.

The article of reflection addresses with a methodology of legal hermeneutics and with qualitative techniques of information processing, the problem of the normative effectiveness of the process of reparation of the victims of the massacre of Mejor Esquina. It should be noted that the methodological use made possible the interpretation of norms, documentary material, theoretical extrapolations and analysis of jurisprudence. The structure of the arguments is presented as follows: In item one, the violent technique of the massacres is analyzed as a structured system of social control, symbolic trashing (Silva Santiesteban, 2008) and eliminationism, especially, the massacre of Mejor Corner as a case of justice postponed. Item two tends to highlight the struggles of postmemory and the urgent need to establish an anamnetic justice as a guarantee of non-repetition.

Keywords : Memory; postmemory; transitional justice; massacres in Colombia; victims.
