This article presents the conceptual framework that handles "Evaluation and influence of urbanization in Soacha between 19702012, a view from the residents, in order to build identity and right to the city" from a tour that starts of the collective imaginary, social representations to the appropriation of territory thus seeks to answer the question about the relationship between the imaginary and the appropriation of land for the relationship between these elements for the articulation between what places mean to people

Therefore it is important to put the wealth of concepts and theoretical models which seek to explain the relationship between people, state and space, in the process of appropriation and social construction of territory in order to propose a scheme methodological concept from which to evaluate these dynamics within each of the communes and townships of the Soacha of municipality
