This research article has as intention to show the case of an epiphyte crop of the family Bromeliaceae on brick, being a mediating object between the species of native flora and the City Edge. In this case the urban space of the Commune 22 in Cali.

Likewise, it affirms the conditions of the commune 22 as City Edge and describes the objectual and environmental conditions for the success of the epiphyte crop -Bromeliaceae family- on Brick.
