Abstract

In this article, are explored some data associated with rural issues. There are several dimensions that can highlight of this problem, including food security, ecological footprint, employment in rural areas and the conservation of strategic areas. In addition, we must conceive of rural and environmental problems under territorial changes, regarding economic instruments and sectoral incentives, production systems and urban-rural relations, among others. The text suggests that at present we has a lot of knowledge and research to be able to respond to the challenges of the post-conflict, it is important to consolidate a state policy capable of articulating multiple knowledge and efforts.
